A New Face of Luxury

AITO Brings “Intelligent Luxury” to Life in Munich

Natasha Dury

The grand halls of IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich provided the perfect stage for AITO, the young yet ambitious intelligent EV brand from SERES, to make its global debut. With three striking models unveiled – the AITO 9, AITO 7, and AITO 5, the brand showcased not only its technological prowess but also its lifestyle-driven vision of what it calls “Intelligence Redefining Luxury.”

At first glance, AITO’s line-up commands attention with clean, aerodynamic lines and a sense of calm confidence in their design. But as you step closer, it becomes clear that these cars are not just about aesthetics. They have been conceived with a deeper narrative: luxury is about comfort, safety, intelligence, and the ease of every journey.

The Flagship: AITO 9

The AITO 9 represents the pinnacle of this philosophy. It’s more than just a large SUV; it’s an experience tailored to long journeys and refined living. Inside, the cabin feels like a mobile sanctuary, lined with Nappa leather and wood trims that whisper understated elegance. The second row is where indulgence truly takes shape with  reclining seats, leg rests, and even a cinema-style 32-inch entertainment screen transform travel into a first-class escape. Behind the serenity lies confidence: record-breaking crash-test results and submarine-grade steels underline the brand’s mantra that “safety is the ultimate luxury.”

AITO 7: Designed Around Families

For families and group travellers, the AITO 7 strikes the balance between size, comfort, and versatility. Its six-seat layout feels expansive, with reclining second-row seats and thoughtful touches like an integrated tablet and optional work table, perfect for children’s entertainment or catching up on tasks mid-journey. Smooth acceleration, whisper-quiet operation, and a WLTP range of up to 1,050 kilometres ensure that whether it’s a weekend getaway or a desert road trip, the journey is as seamless as the destination.

AITO 5: The Dynamic Heart

Slightly smaller but no less impressive, the AITO 5 is the energetic performer of the trio. Sleek, sporty, and responsive, it delivers a driver-focused experience without compromising on comfort. A panoramic roof floods the cabin with light, while massage seats and ambient lighting create a mood that’s as indulgent as it is dynamic. Beneath the stylish skin, its advanced aluminium-alloy chassis and high-performance suspension system ensure agility, stability, and excitement — a rare balance for a mid-size SUV in this segment.

Crafted for the Middle East

What makes these premieres even more significant is AITO’s deliberate tailoring to the Middle East. From Arabic-language cockpit systems to upgraded cooling and sand-proofing for desert conditions, these cars are designed with the region’s roads, climates, and lifestyles in mind. With UAE certification already secured and a regional hub set up in Dubai, AITO’s entry feels less like an experiment and more like a carefully thought-out commitment.

The Road Ahead

Walking past the futuristic stand in Munich, the impression AITO leaves is clear: it is not trying to mimic traditional luxury brands, but rather to rewrite the rules. These vehicles embody a different definition of luxury — one that prioritises peace of mind, seamless technology, and user comfort as much as horsepower or badge appeal. In doing so, AITO positions itself as one of the most compelling new names in the global automotive conversation, and one that the Middle East will soon experience first-hand.
